Local bosses named among the nation’s worst

So you think your boss is bad? They’ve probably got nothing on a couple of local leaders (some recently deposed or on their way out) named among “America’s Worst Bosses” in the annual list put out by the website eBossWatch.
Listen to Local bosses named among America’s worst, but Rachel has one that rivals them all
Something’s apparently afoul in Fife, where a former and current cop both made the list, according to Asher Adelman, founder of eBossWatch.
The panel of workplace experts ranked former Lt. Jeff Westover #46 and Lt. Doug Burrus #80 on the list.
“One of them had sex with a female subordinate and exposed himself to her a number of times,” says Asher. He had shown pornographic pictures to that employee and when the woman then went to the other Lt. and complained and said she was being sexually harassed the second one didn’t report her complaint.”
The list also features former Edmonds Mayor Mike Cooper, who ranked #53 for fostering what Asher says was a hostile workplace.
The list, however, doesn’t include Rachel Belle’s nominee. The Ron and Don Show contributor tells of the hell she experienced everyday working for a guy she calls the worst boss “ever!”
Rachel says in the three months or so she worked for the company, who shall remain nameless, she and her co-workers were subjected to unbelievable abuse and absurdity on an almost daily basis.
Among examples was the time Rachel asked how he was doing during her first week on the job. “Not doing very good Rachel, not doing very good at all,” he responded. “And do you want to know why? I decided to give myself a coffee enema last night.”
Then there was the time he took away their chairs.
“One day we weren’t allowed to sit in chairs anymore at our daily meeting, so we had to come in and meet everyday. He actually had his desk on a stage so he could be up above everyone,” Rachel recalls.
She says people were fired or quit repeatedly during her time there, perhaps because of the time he said instead of President Obama, “We need a dictator, sort of like they had in Germany.”
Or perhaps it was the refusing to let people work a full 40 hour week to avoid paying benefits.
Asher says such abuses are actually way more common than you can imagine, prompting him to create his company and the rankings of America’s worst bosses.
“We continue to be shocked and outraged by the egregious harassment and discrimination that happens in far too many American workplaces,” he says.
