An app that pulls information off the Internet to improve email communication proved that KIRO Radio’s Tom Tangney and John Curley are polar opposites.
The radio hosts used the app to research each other and found they prefer to communicate drastically different.
Curley, for example, doesn’t want to read long emails and doesn’t want to be asked a lot of questions. Tom on the other hand, prefers lots of information in an email and doesn’t want any exaggerations or conversations to be left open-ended.
“This is the exact opposite,” Curley said of the app’s results.
“That’s why we’re paired,” Tom responded.
The app, Crystal, scours the Internet to find whatever public information is available to develop a character profile. The app tells the user the best way to write an email to a specific person.
“Basically everything you do is what I can’t stand,” Tom told Curley.
