Sick Pay is Nothing to Sneeze at

Originally aired: Monday, September 12, 2011
Category: Interviews
After the Seattle City Council passed an ordinance that requires all businesses give their workers paid sick days off, we talk to Marilyn Watkins of the Seattle Healthy Workforce Coalition and Karissa Bresheare, a local small business owner about how this will affect workers and business owners. One of the most important parts of the interview is when John points out that small business owner Bresheare makes $16 AN HOUR and asks where she's going to find the money to pay for all this sick leave.
