ESPN senior MLB writer Jayson Stark believes the Mariners' road to contention will depend on how many young, big-time arms they can get to the majors to both build a dominant rotation and use as trade bait to acquire some much-needed offense. Stark also thinks that Jesus Montero and Dustin Ackley are the bats that Seattle will need to build its offense around.
