Pope Francis visited the Roman basilica dedicated to the Virgin Mary today on his first morning as leader of the world's 1.2 billion Catholics. Frances is the first non-European pope in 12 centuries. He is also a Jesuit. We talk to Mark Markuly, dean of the school of theology and ministry at Seattle University. // Luke and Shawn continue to discuss Pope Francis. // A British man who was filmed wrestling a shark in Australia has been fired from his job. He was on sick leave at the time of the video. His bosses saw it and fired him for breach of trust. It took the "Veronica Mars" movie less than 10 hours to reach its $2 million Kickstarter goal. And there are 29 days left on campaign. // Scientists confirm they have, in fact, discovered the Higgs boson. We talk to Gordon Watts, one of the scientists who helped find the so-called God particle.
